3 EASY STEPS TO TAKING TIME…FOR YOU!

“I DON’T HAVE THE TIME!”

If you are anything like myself, I hear myself saying this way too many times throughout the week.

Why is it that we make time for are families, our business’s, even strangers, but not ourselves?  Are we not worthy?  Of course we are.  Believe it, or else!

It is 2017.  When is now a good time to take care of you?

Did you know that if we are going down on a plane, and the oxygen masks drop , we are suppose to put the oxygen mask on ourselves first?

Only then can we help the people around us. The same can be said for us in every day life.

Here are some  easy steps we can take to put ourselves first!

1.  Let’s say “no” to requests to do things that we don’t really want to, we don’t value, or don’t bring us satisfaction and joy.

2.  Let’s ask for help with the chores. My husband Norm asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I asked for a home cleaning service.  He listened! Yay! I love when I come home and see a clean house and I didn’t lift a finger! Me time!

3.  Treat yourself to an hour or two personal time away from your surroundings.

When is the last time you had a facial?  A massage?  A facial is the best ‘me’ time you can do for yourself.  Why?  You are literally away from everything and everyone else.
